Hi! I am Briana Hamilton. I am the mother of two little boys born 16 months apart, now ages 3 and 1. My husband and I made Clarksville our home 3 years ago after living in the Nashville area for 5 years. I am a Registered Nurse and currently work in dialysis. I also started school to earn my degree as a Certified Nurse Midwife this fall. When I'm not busy with a birth, work, or school you can find me playing with my boys or reading!

   

I became a doula during the last trimester of my pregnancy with my oldest son. After my own experiences and research I found my passion within the birth community and I have been educating and supporting women on their journey to motherhood every since. Representation within the birth space and shared decision making within maternal care are two topics that I am very passionate about. I believe in knowing what the options are and the evidence based practice behind the interventions. As a nurse I have learned to work well during changes and bring a sense of peace for both the mother and other supporting people within the birth space. Birth is an exciting time for all and my hope is to help you have a memorable experience that you can look back on and feel good about your overall experience. 

 

Every birth is unique and special in their own way, and recognizing the wants and needs of each family is important. My goal is to meet you where you are with education & planning. I would be honored to be apart of your birth team!
